Peter Heneghan is an acclaimed expert in communications, digital strategy, and AI, with experience at leading organizations including BBC News, Channel 4, BuzzFeed, and 10 Downing Street.
In May 2023, he launched The Future Communicator—an integrated communications and AI agency that empowers business leaders and brands to shape their future and communicate with clarity.
Peter spent three and a half years as Head of the Digital Communications Profession for the UK Government, where he played a pivotal role in shaping the country’s communications and behavioural response to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Under his leadership, digital communications became more editorial, direct, audience-first, empathetic, and data-driven.
He is a multi-award-winning expert in digital campaigns and crisis communications, including the prestigious Cannes Lions Grand Prix award.
Peter is also a recipient of the Guinness Scholarship, which supports students from disadvantaged backgrounds in pursuing higher education.
Passionate about equipping young people with practical life skills, he serves on the board of trustees for MyBnk—the UK’s largest charity dedicated to financial education for children and young adults.
He holds a master’s degree in International Journalism from Cardiff University.
